Last night I was home alone. My love one went to the province and my other house mate was out. I was looking for something to do. It was a weekend and I want it to be something different than the usual doing of house chores and DVD marathon. After dinner, I turned on the TV and tuned in the local Singing Bee. Aba, I was singing along! So the show does not stay for all night and when it was down to its last category, I found myself holding the already opened bottle of white wine and wanting to sing more! I grabbed my computer and guess what I was thi'nking--- "there should be an online Karaoke!" Since there is rarely something that you cannot find in the internet nowadays, I found one! I signed up right away, leaving a couple of dishes unwashed in the sink. It says, "44 free songs" and other options with US dollar rates for an unlimited songs. The rates vary depending on the number of days that you want to avail the offer. Of course I chose the free sign up! I never, yes, NEVER signed up on the internet that charges me on my account! I thought I'd be happy with the 44 songs. Heck, that's a lot already, it can keep me up all night. But after browsing on the songs, I found only a couple that I can sing. I plugged in my headset that comes with a microphone, then goes my singing mood turned on! Tried and recorded some of the songs. I finished the last gulp of the wine then got another from the cabinet. This time it's red. Unfortunately, the hard-headed cork won't cooperate! Ah, forget the wine and grab the mic! I looked for another site that would also offer free signing for more than 44 songs, then of course there is! Karaokeplay offers free sign up for all the songs that they have. Just exactly what I was looking for. Well, I continued singing for another hour while my pet Teddy circles around my feet, maybe wondering with the unusual night that we are having. I completely forgot how my neighbors are taking it, I just enjoyed what I was doing. Yes, singing the songs with all my might! I recorded all of them, however they came out. Then it was time for my love one to call, that ended my karaoke adventure. I had fun, and planned to do it again. Next time I'll have someone with me.

Just Started

I tried blogging several times before but I always end up losing the enthusiasm to write, either because of the many other things I focus myself with or simply because nobody reads it anyway. I posted thoughts and poems on the web only for safekeeping, since I have this tendency to lose files that I save in my computer. Now I'm back. I wish I could write more, and this time make it fun and meaningful! I want to be heard and I want to be read, because I have stories to tell, in less than a thousand words. You won't get bored, I promise! :)
